Maleek Berry, Davido, Wizkid, Tiwa Savage Land MOBO Awards Nomination; See Full List Of Nominees

It’s that time of year again already, and the nominations for the 2017 MOBO Awards have finally been announced.

The king of grime Stormzy leads the way with five nominations.

Not only is the 24-year-old up for Best Male, but Stormzy is also in the running for Best Grime Act, Best Album for Gang Signs & Prayer, Best Song and Best Video for ‘Big For Your Boots’.

Rapper J Hus is close behind with four nominations, while Jorja Smith and Stefflon Don are repping the female contingent with three nods each, including Best Female.

London mayor Sadiq Khan did the honours of announcing this year’s Best Male category, the winner of which will be decided on Wednesday, November 29 in Leeds.

Producer cum singer Maleek Berry who has had a banner year so far got a nod in the best Male Act category and Best African Act along with Davido, Tekno, Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Mr Eazi, Sarkodie, Wande Coal, Eugy and Juls. Wizkid is also Nominated for Best International act.

The awards ceremony will be held in Leeds at the First Direct Arena on 29th November and will be broadcast live on ITV2 and repeated in full on ITV.
