French Montana does some relfecting in his new music video for “Sanctuary Pt. 2,” a single off his upcoming Max B-hosted mixtape Wave Gods.
The black-and-white clip serves as a visual diary as French is seen at award shows, interviews, and NBA games. He’s also shown with Diddy, Snoop Dogg, DJ Khaled, and Rick Ross. But another rapper actually becomes the main focus of the vid at one point: Montana’s late friend, Chinx.
“Sanctuary 2,” a soul-inspired follow-up to 2012’s Mac & Cheese 3 track, allows French to mourn over Chinx’s death. The video is also dedicated to the rapper who died last year in a drive-by shooting.
