Almost five months after police started investigating Justin Bieber sidekick Lil Twist over an alleged November felony home invasion and robbery, Twist has been charged in the case. The Young Money rapper (born Christopher Lynn Moore), 22, and four others are alleged to have beaten up “That’s So Raven” actor Kyle Massey and Massey’s brother, Chris, at the pair’s apartment in November.
According to TMZ, Twist was charged by the Los Angeles County D.A.’s office with making criminal threats, burglary, grand theft, battery and 2 counts of assault with a deadly weapon.
Twist and some friends were reportedly hanging out at Kyle’s apartment in November when Kyle and Chris asked them to leave and a scuffle broke out. Chris claimed that Twist and friends pushed back into the apartment, then beat Chris with brass knuckles and took his wallet and cell phone. TMZ reported that there is an arrest warrant out for Twist, who could face up to 25 years if convicted on all counts.
Spokespeople for Twist and the Los Angeles County D.A.’s office could not be reached for comment at press time.
