Ariana Grande dazzles on the cover of Billboard.
Stunning in red lipstick, Chanel shades, and donning nothing but a towel on her body, the Dangerous Woman opens up about her fascination with hip-hop in the mag’s cover story.
While talking about Kanye West, for instance, the pop superstar explains why Yeezy’s controversial Taylor Swift line on “Famous” didn’t completely deter her appreciation for The Life of Pablo.
“I’m conflicted,” she says. “It’s a serious thing to joke about, but at the same time, a lot of artists use humor in their music. I mean, yes, it’s hard to listen to. But I’m obsessed with Kanye’s album. I’m obsessed with Taylor’s album. There are some cringe-worthy topics on his, but it’s part of Kanye. He’s a fantastic artist.”
West doesn’t appear on Grande’s upcoming album, but Future does. Apparently, the Billboard Hot 100 Music Festival headliner knows how to put on a great impression of her “Everyday” collaborator and adds that “when his songs come on, it creates a physical response.”
Hendrix isn’t the only MC on Dangerous Woman, of course. The album also boasts appearances from Lil Wayne (“Let Me Love You”) and Nicki Minaj (“Side to Side”).
