According to sources, Queen Bey will be performing a tribute to Martin Luther King with a gospel choir backing her up on the song Take My Hand Precious Lord!
In fact, it was Selma‘s nominated songwriter Common who confirmed the uncommonly good news, saying:
“We do have an incredible introduction to our performance. A segue into our song Glory, as a tribute to Selma, being done by the great Beyoncé. That’s one of the greatest talents you can have, helping us segue into it. To co-create a performance with someone like her. It’s good.”
And Bey isn’t the only good thing coming to the 2015 Grammys!
Katy Perry will also be on hand to perform her heart-wrenching ballad By The Grace Of God — but so far the artist is keeping mum on how she’s presenting the performance!
All we’ve heard is that it will be something very special to watch!
