Chris Brown has debunked claims that he has been denied entry into Australia due to his infamous conviction in the assault of then-girlfriend, Rihanna.
Several media reports have been going round that the Australian authorities are bent on preventing the singer from entering the country.
Chris, who is scheduled to perform in three cities in Australia in December, has rubbished these claims saying his request to enter the country is currently still being considered. He also claims to have visited the country on two separate occasions since the 2009 incident.
He shared a screenshot of a PR statement on his instagram page today, September 28. It reads:
“Contrary to media reports, Chris Brown’s request to enter Australia on tour has not been denied. This request is currently being considered by the office of the Immigration Minister. We respect their right to review this request and have faith that a decision will be made with a full consideration of his continued personal growth, on-going philanthropic endeavors and desire to perform for his fans. Since 2009, Chris Brown has visited Australia on two separate occasions and is looking forward to returning in December.”
