The release of Rihanna’s “Work” music video comes on the same day that the song hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot 100. The track is her 14th chart-topper, while it’s only Drake’s second. His previous No. 1 was also with Rihanna, their 2010 collab “What’s My Name?”
Drizzy took to Instagram to send his thanks. He captioned a still from the video: “Two number ones and they are both cause of you…Midas Touch Riri. Thank you!!!”
Drake’s not one to flex about the awards he’s received, but it’s no secret that he’s glowing at having reached No. 1 with RiRi. In 2015, with the release “Hotline Bling,” he peaked at No. 2 on the Hot 100. At the time, he Instagrammed a photo with the caption, “No accolades really matter to me other than the fact that I have never had a billboard number one.” Well, now he’s got two all due to Rihanna.
