Two of the biggest pop stars on the planet, Jennifer Lopez and Mariah Carey, dazzle on separate covers for PAPER magazine’s Las Vegas issue.
Sitting on a disco ball-like moon from her “All I Have” show, J.Lo glitters on the Ellen von Unwerth-shot cover while wearing a bustier and crown by Rocky Gathercole, shoes by Jimmy Choo, earrings by Fallon, underwear by House of CB, and rings by Djula.
“When you come to Vegas, you should come see my show, ‘All I Have.’ It’s the best show in Vegas,” she tells the magazine. “You should come and just enjoy hanging out by the pool, shopping, eating, seeing all the great shows. It’s like an adult playground. It’s a lot of fun.”
Inside the issue, Jenny from the Block stuns in pieces by The Blonds, Giuseppe Zanotti, Maria Elena, Catherine D’Lish, Maison Close, Jenny Packham, and Christian Louboutin. To add a personal touch, she also rocks earrings from her Jennifer Lopez for Kohl’s line.
Meanwhile, J.Lo’s rumored rival Mariah Carey goes topless for the James White-captured cover, wearing jewelry by House of Emmanuele, gloves by Wing & Weft Gloves, Inc. and tights by Wolford. In the interview, she opens up about her “#1 to Infinity” residency, which ended in July.
“I just thought it would be something in between albums, because now I’m working on a new album and new singles, and I just thought it was a great place to be able to be,” said MC. “Because I have twins [Moroccan and Monroe], who just turned six…to have them be in one place for a period of time rather than, like, touring for all that time [is great]. They go with me.”
