J.Lo just made an Epic move. In the midst of her NBC show “Shades of Blue,” Las Vegas residency, and “American Idol,” Jennifer Lopez has signed a multi-album deal with Epic Records.

According to Us Weekly, Jenny from the Block has left Capitol Records and reunited with Epic chairman and CEO L.A. Reid.

“Heading Back Home!” she tweeted.

J.Lo reportedly had dinner with her manager Benny Medina and Reid to celebrate the deal on Monday (Feb. 29). “Jennifer and L.A. are longtime friends, and they love working together,” said an insider.

Reid also commented on the move. “I’m thrilled to welcome Jennifer back home with me to Epic Records,” he told Billboard. “Jennifer is a true global icon with a magnetism that seers across music, film, and TV and I’m excited to be working together again.”

Prior to her stint at Capitol, where she dropped 2014’s A.K.A., the singer-actress released a majority of her projects, including This is Me…Then, Rebirth, and J.Lo through Epic. She left the label in 2010 to join Reid at Universal Music Group’s Island Def Jam.

She is the latest addition to the Epic roster, which includes superstar acts like Mariah Carey, Puff Daddy, Future, Ciara, Travis Scott, and most recently Rick Ross.
