Jhené Aiko is making her love for Big Sean permanent.
The R&B songstress had a portrait of her boyfriend’s face tattooed on her left bicep by Swedish tattoo artist Miryam “The Witchdoctor” Lumpini. The close-up image shows the Detroit rapper smiling while clad in a suit and bow tie.
“I loved working with Jhené,” said Lumpini, who tatted Jhené at her private studio in downtown L.A. “She’s great. I’m so glad we came together for this concept. It was so inspiriting to collaborate on a vision so deeply rooted in love.”
Aiko is coming off the release of her latest album, Trip, which debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200. Next year, she will support the album on Lana Del Rey’s “LA to the Moon Tour.”
Earlier this month, Aiko finalized her divorce from Dot Da Genius. She started dating Sean shortly after filing for divorce from her husband of 11 months, citing “irreconcilable differences.”
Aiko is no stranger to tattoos. Throughout the years, she has showcased some of her most prominent pieces, including the phases of the moon, a Buddha sitting on a lotus flower on her back, her brother’s full name on her collarbone, and the dharma wheel on her shoulder.
