Lil Wayne suffered a seizure during a flight on Monday, June 13, TMZ reports. He was going from Milwaukee to California when it occurred, forcing his private jet to make an emergency landing in Nebraska.
Paramedics reportedly arrived at the airstrip, where Wayne was alert but refused treatment. Further details are unclear at the moment. In October 2012, Wayne was on an airplane that was forced to make an emergency landing when he reportedly suffered a seizure. His management later claimed he was “being treated for a severe migraine and dehydration.”
In March 2013, Wayne was taken to the hospital for “multiple seizures.” He was in a medically induced coma and “unstable” in the intensive care unit for nearly a week. Later that month, he said in an interview that he was epileptic. “The bad news is, I’m an epileptic, so I’m prone to seizures,” he explained. “This isn’t my first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh seizure. I’ve had a bunch of seizures; y’all just never heard about it.”
According to TMZ, Lil Wayne suffered another seizure and lost consciousness. He had reportedly boarded his private jet, which was in the air for minutes before his second seizure took place.
