A Draco may have Young Draco in trouble with the law. Soulja Boy could face more than four years in prison if convicted on two felony charges.
According to TMZ, the counts stem from two guns found in the rapper’s Hollywood home during his arrest last month. Now, he’s been charged with a misdemeanor for receiving stolen property, since one of the guns was reportedly stolen from a cop car. He’s also facing an assault weapon charge for a Mini Draco AR-15, which is illegal in California.
Young Draco was arrested for a probation violation in December. At the time, it was reported that a gun was seized in the search. Law enforcement officials searched his home after receiving a tip that the rapper had been threatening people online with guns.
Soulja is on probation for a 2014 loaded gun case. He is not allowed to carry any guns, but has flashed weapons on camera, including two in a diss video aimed at Migos’ Quavo, in which he yelled, “F**k Migos! F**k Quavo! Pull in yo’ block with the Draco.”
Since then, Soulja Boy has entangled himself in a feud with Chris Brown. The two are reportedly arranging a boxing match in Dubai, though it’s unclear how these charges will affect those plans.
