Chocolate City songstress, Victoria Kimani, is one whose music career is already fledgling, and the Kenyan native can’t imagine having to give up her career for a man.
The singer made this assuring statement in a recent interview with City People, going as far as saying marriage is not on the cards for now.
“I wish. It is not that easy. I wish I could just raise my hands and point one person, and get married the next day. I do have a friend, he is not a celebrity at all. Getting married? Don’t know, its not going to be anytime soon we are not engaged yet” she said.
Victoria, who is looking to release her debut studio album sometime in 2016, revealed the kind of man she’d settle down with when the time comes.
“I can’t marry that type of person because he is going to meet me how I am, he can’t come and change me. If he tries to stop me from doing music, we will break up because my parents could not convince me not to do music, why would some guy who wants to be my husband come to stop me. No way, its over” she told the publication.
