Dedeba ft. Aligata – Stay True (Prod. By Deelaw)
Its always refreshing when two musical genres are harmonized into one musical masterpiece.
It gets more appealing when real dope female rapper teams up with a Ragga head on a Hip Hop joint.
Well, fast rising fante female emcee; Dedeba join forces with “Wonshelele” crooner; Aligata and together they have released what can be termed as a “cocktail banger” titled “STAY TRUE“.
The song which is driven by a Hip Hop instrumentation saw the lyrically deep female emcee; Dedeba bring out some thought provoking punchlines.
Aligata on the other hand spiced the chorus up with his Reggae/Dancehall flair and iced the track which very catchy hooks.
Stay True seeks to ask negative people in general a simple question.
And the question is “why do you have to keep running while you got to stay true to yourself?”
The song basically talks about all the things back bitters and back chatters wish they could do to us but just can not because of our foresight and experiences.
