This year’s frontrunner with 11 nominations, Beyoncé, arrived early with her adorable daughter Blue Ivy, donning matching outfits. Queen Bey also posed on the red carpet with her LEMONADE co-stars including Parkwood signees Chloe x Halle, model Winnie Harlow, and Trayvon Martin’s mother.
Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill arrived together—Nicki in a blue Bao Tranchi gown and Meek in a Dolce&Gabbana velvet bomber jacket. Nicki’s “Do You Mind” collaborator DJ Khaled kissed his pregnant fiancée Nicole’s belly before taking over pre-show hosting duties.
Desiigner hit up his first VMA carpet shirtless in a salmon-colored Maison Margiela suit, while Best Hip-Hop Video nominee Chance the Rapper opted for overalls and a “Chance 3” hat.
