The singer’s visual album has earned four nominations at the 68th Emmy Awards, it was announced today.
The one-hour special, which premiered on HBO in April, received nods for Outstanding Variety Special, Outstanding Production Design for a Variety, Nonfiction, Event or Award Special, Outstanding Directing for a Variety Special, and Outstanding Picture Editing for Variety Programming.
Queen Bey earned a nomination for herself in the Outstanding Director slot, along with her co-director, Kahlil Joseph.
This is not Bey’s first Emmy nomination. Her “On the Run” HBO tour special with Jay Z was nominated for Outstanding Special Class Program at last year’s Emmys and Bey also received a nod for her 2013 Super Bowl XLVII Halftime Show.
In addition to Beyoncé’s LEMONADE, Adele’s “Live in New York City” special also earned four nominations this year, including Outstanding Directing for a Variety Special.
