Music star Chidinma has refused to renew her music deal with record label Capital Hill Music / The Gorretti Company.
Chidinma has been under the record label since winning reality show, MTN Project Fame 3 more than half a decade ago. Sources close to the label said Chidinma had requested that the contract should not be renewed; making her a free agent and can take her career to any direction.
The source claim that Chidinma understandably has been reportedly unhappy with the management of her music label and decided long ago she wouldn’t renew her music deal.
Chidinma is not the first artiste to leave the label. Tesh Carter, Kel and Fefe have also all left the label in recent times.
Currently Ayoola and Mzkiss are the only artiste signed to the music group. Illbliss, Clarence Peters and Suspect haven’t issued a statement on the matter.
Chidinma and her former record label now have to decide their next move.
