The man that blessed the world with summer hit Panda, Desiigner was arrested on Thursday night in New York.
According to a report by TMZ, the rapper was arrested on felony drug and weapon charges. The site reports that Desiigner and four other individuals were riding in an SUV and became involved with another road user. The user immediately called 911 and he claimed that the rapper pointed a gun at him.
Police pulled the SUV and during their search they found a large quantity of pills in the car’s console that included Oxycontin.
All five individuals riding in the SUV were arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of drugs with intent to sell. In addition, Desiigner was charged with criminal possession of a loaded weapon and menacing.
