Taylor Swift reveals she has learnt how to cautiously approach issues since her misunderstanding with Nicki Minajover VMA nominations.
The duo had a publicized misunderstanding after Swift misinterpreted Nicki’s VMA snub rant as an attack on her personality. They have since buried the hatchet and went on to perform together at the August 2015 event.
Swift, 25, revealed her regrets and her more calculated approach since the incident to British magazine, NME, saying;
“I don’t want to talk about it,” she told the publication. “But I send text messages now. If there seems to be some kind of misunderstanding, I go to someone’s management, I get their number and I text them.
“It’s an important lesson for anyone to learn in 2015,” Swift added of the dangers of social media.
The ‘Bad Blood’ singer also revealed how well she’s getting along with Kanye West since the infamous 2009 VMA speech saga,
“It took a while… But I had to tell Beck this story earlier. I was at dinner with Kanye a week after the Grammys, he stops what he’s saying and he goes, ‘What is this song? I need to listen to this every day.’ I said, ‘It’s Beck, it’s on an album called Morning Phase, I think you’ve heard of it…’”
“We just burst out laughing. And he says, ‘Hey, sometimes I’m wrong” Swift revealed.
