Janet Jackson Pregnant With First Child

Janet Jackson is going to be a mom. Just shy of her 50th birthday, the pop icon is reportedly pregnant with her first child, a source tells ET.

While there has been no official announcement from Jackson, it shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise. Just last month, the singer postponed her “Unbreakable World Tour” to start a family with husband Wissam Al Mana.

“I thought it was important that you would be the first to know my husband and I are planning our family, so I’m going to have to delay the tour,” she told fans. “Please, if you can try to understand that it’s important that I do this now. I have to rest up, doctor’s orders. But I have not forgotten about you. I will continue to tour as soon as I possibly can.”

Jackson, who turns 50 on May 16, secretly wed 41-year-old entrepreneur Wissam Al Mana in 2012.
