In honor of Janet Jackson, 49, receiving the inaugural Ultimate Icon: Music Dance Visual prize at the 2015 BET Awards on June 28, Ciara, Jason Derulo and Tinashe performed a special dance tribute to the amazing entertainer, and it was beautiful. They even incorporated her new song, “No Sleeep.”
After a bunch of clips — showing her world tours from the past — played on the big screen, Jason Derulo, Ciara and Tinashe took the stage to recreate some of Janet’s most iconic dance moves, while her songs played in the background. When a number of dancers started moving and grooving to her new song, “No Sleeep,” Janet emerged on stage. And that’s when she accepted her award.
