Justin Bieber has found the “love of his life” in Hailey Baldwin.
The 24-year-old pop superstar has confirmed his surprise engagement to the 21-year-old model, which took place in the Bahamas on Saturday (July 7). Now he is gushing about his wife-to-be in a heartfelt letter on Instagram.
“Was gonna wait a while to say anything but word travels fast, listen plain and simple Hailey I am soooo in love with everything about you!” writes Bieber. “So committed to spending my life getting to know every single part of you loving you patiently and kindLY.”
He mentions his Christian faith and his plans to start a family with his new fiancée. “I promise to lead our family with honor and integrity letting Jesus through his Holy Spirit guide us in everything we do and every decision we make,” he says. “My heart is COMPLETELY and FULLY YOURS and I will ALWAYS put you first! You are the love of my life Hailey Baldwin and I wouldn’t want to spend it with anybody else.”
The couple got engaged at a resort in the Bahamas on July 7, a date that holds religious significance to Bieber. “Gods timing really is literally perfect, we got engaged on the seventh day of the seventh month, the number seven is the number of spiritual perfection, it’s true GOOGLE IT!” he explains.
The future is bright for the young people. “My goodness does feel good to have our future secured! WERE GONNA VE BETTER AT 70 BABY HERE WE GO!” he adds. “This is the year of favor!!!!”
Bieber had reportedly been planning the proposal for a couple of weeks. “Justin picked out the ring before they flew to the Bahamas,” a source tells PEOPLE. “He took Hailey on a special trip to propose. She didn’t know.”
