Lil Wayne was reportedly hospitalized in Chicago Sunday after suffering a seizure.
The rapper, 34, was found unconscious in his Westin hotel room, according to TMZ. He reportedly suffered another seizure at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
Lil Wayne, whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr., is supposed to perform at Drai’s Live nightclub in Las Vegas late Sunday night.
The club told the Daily News that it was “not certain” if he will still go on. The “Lollipop” rapper opened up about his epilepsy, which causes recurring seizures, in 2013.
“No warning, no nothing, I don’t feel sick. I get headaches real bad. And the headaches? I didn’t get no headaches or nothing,” he said on MTV’s “RapFix Live.
He also said he doesn’t remember the episodes after they happen. Last summer, the rapper suffered three seizures in four weeks, but reps blamed the attacks on the wrong balance of medication.
