There’s a new wrinkle in Lil Wayne’s Birdman feud and it involves Tyga.

According to TMZ, Weezy is “fuming” at the Cash Money boss for allowing T-Raww to leave Young Money without a conversation about the matter. Tyga was, of course, signed to Young Money, which Wayne owns 49 percent of.

After saying the label was holding him hostage, King Gold Chains announced his departure from Young Money/Cash Money back in 2014.1

More recently, he embarked on a new phase of his career, signing with Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music imprint.

Wayne now says that, although Birdman owns a majority of the company, he should have been consulted. He also claims he would have been against the decision to let Tyga go.

This is just the latest chapter in the Cash Money and Wayne dispute. Weezy is suing the label for $51 million and has said he will retire if the money isn’t straightened out. Even if the finances are squared away, he’s vowed never to work with Birdman again.
