A few years ago, Beyonce dropped her dad as her manager and all together stopped working with him, after an audit showed he was skimming money off her tours and for fathering children outside his marriage to Beyonce’s mum.
There were speculations that the two were no longer on speaking terms. But in an interview with The Insider, Mathew said he and Beyonce still speak, that they still have a relationship, that he hasn’t been cut out of the family and that Blue Ivy is the smartest 3-year-old he knows.
