Late producer, singer and songwriter, OJB Jezreel was finally laid to rest today, July 8, 2016 at the Ikoyi cemetry, Ikoyi. The singer who died on Tuesday, June 14, 2016, following complications reported to have risen from his Kidney ailment will strongly be missed by family members, fans and colleagues.
His second wife, June Okungbowa expressed her gratitude to God about how things went. Speaking about her dearly departed husband she said, “Everything has been going on well. Today went well”, adding, “I am glad now it is over, we can all rest.”
His first son, also had some words for his late father. According to him, he feels sad OJB will never be around for his wedding. “What made my dad my dad is gone, this is not my dad.” I’m going to miss the fact that he wouldn’t be around for my wedding, he wouldn’t carry my children. Most of the things I envisaged to achieve, he wouldn’t be there. He would just be a memory.”
