Sean “Puff Daddy” Combs tops Forbes’ Highest-Paid Hip-Hop Artist list once again.
This year, Diddy clocks in $130 million, putting him at the top of the list, without a new album out within the past year. Instead, the hip-hop mogul has benefitted from Ciroc Vodka, DeLeón Tequila, AQUAhydrate water, the Bad Boy reunion tour, and selling a portion of Sean Jean for an estimated $70 million.
“I’ve always understood that if I give the customers my best and service them differently, whether music, clothing or vodka, I’ll get a return on my hard work,” he recently told Forbes.
Drake comes in behind his one-time foe Diddy on the list with $94 million. A bulk of that money came from his “Boy Meets World Tour,” but he also earned dough from endorsement deals with Apple, Sprite, and Nike.
This year, JAY-Z comes in at No. 3 with $42 million. However, this doesn’t take into account his recent $200 million deal with Live Nation, which will be paid out over the next 10 years.
