Maybach Music Group founder, Rick Ross, has announced a new studio album to be titled ‘Black Market‘.
The rapper who recently released his acclaimed mixtape, Black Dollar, revealed to The Breakfast Club today, October 6, that the next album will be a continuation of the August 2015 release.
“What we do is just build on what we got and take it to the next level,” he says. “I think that’s what this project is all about. Touching the streets with Black Dollar and introducing them to the new album, which is titled Black Market.“
Ross revealed his 8th studio album which is set for a December 2015 release will be his last Def Jam album.
The rapper who was recently released from jail following two arrests in two weeks, revealed he’s still under house arrest.
“Under the circumstances, I just make the best of it, working the most,” he says. “We got recording studios. We got the film team.”
He also touched on the ‘beef’ between Meek Mill and Drake, on Wale and his other MMG acts’ progress, while his fiance, Lira Mercer was called in.
