Nicki Minaj had something to say about her video for “Anaconda” being snubbed for the “Video Of The Year” Video Music Award. She posted a series of tweets directed at MTV which included the Young Money rapper writing, “when the ‘other’ girls drop a video that breaks records and impacts culture they get the nomination.”
Pop superstar Taylor Swift must have felt the message was referring to her, because the “Bad Blood” singer responded to Nicki on Twitter. Swift was among the five artists (two women) nominated for VOTY. Minaj then sent messages back to Swift.
