I don’t watch Television, I dislike music videos. I hate hearing something and seeing a misrepresentation. Feel free to call me old fashion.
Over the weekend Dusten Truce hit us with the “Better Days” video and I watched it. Featuring X3M Music label mate Praiz, the video details the everyday Nigerian struggle and it was directed by Zero Degrees Production.
Picture this: Dirty water, street urchins massed at corners, kids, the famous Alomo-bitters lady every ghetto has, yellow molue buses, badly fixed electric poles and everything bad and good about Nigeria. It is wavy for a rap artist who should be focused on floozies, nickels and dimes, about flaunting and about pulling up in drop-top buckets to make a video featuring the hood, our hood, your hood. I’m proud of Dusten for representing.
