World renowned vocalist, Sam Smith has just become a double Guinness world record holder, as he smashes two Guinness world records.
The U.K based singer cum songwriter, has been specially honoured for his Spectre theme ‘Writing’s On The Wall’ as he now holds the record for the first ever James Bond song to reach number one on the UK single chart, the first of the two records he broke.
The second is for his first official studio album “In The Lonely Hour”, which currently has spent 69 consecutive weeks in the UK Top 10 since he released it as far back as May 2014, over a year ago.
“This is so amazing. It’s such an honour to be recognised by Guinness World Records,”
Sam Smith said.
“It’s been an unbelievable eighteen months. The album exceeded even my wildest dreams thanks to the incredible support of my fans, and to record the first ever Bond theme to reach No.1 in the UK is a real privilege.” He further added.
