The Queen will have an audience with the Pope.
That would be the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin, who has joined the roster of artists scheduled to perform for Pope Francis and his congregation at the Festival of Families in Philadelphia on Sept. 26.
“It is indeed a blessing to sing in the presence of His Holiness and to the attendees of the Festival of Families in the City of Brotherly Love,” Franklin said in a statement. “I look forward to this event. Be blessed!”
