Janet Jackson Announces ‘Unbreakable World Tour’ After 7 Years of Hiatus

After a 7-year hiatus from the music industry, singer Janet Jackson, 49, this morning made the official announcement about her Unbreakable World Tour and released some promo photos.

The first leg according to a press release which will be co-produced by Janet, will be a 36-date tour throughout the U.S. and Canada starting Aug. 31 in Vancouver, BC.  Shows are lined up in Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami, Atlanta, San Diego, San Francisco and more.

Janet also announced that her upcoming album will be out this Fall on Rhythm Nation Records
