Mariah Carey hit a personal milestone as she made one of her childhood dreams come true.
But as the 45-year-old got her star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame on Wednesday her role as a mother overshadowed the career high.
The singer’s four-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan stole the show as they performed some cute antics including yawning, holding their hands over their ears, and pretending to nap on their mother’s lap during the ceremony.
Iconic musician Mariah Carey has become the latest star to appear on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame. The singer released her first album in 1990 – and went on to achieve worldwide fame.
The “Fantasy” singer had to accept a co-starring role on Wednesday, when her 4-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe (aka Roc and Roe), took center stage as Carey was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
“Really, you’re melting my heart,” Carey, 45, said to her adoring fans. “You’re making me cry, and that’s why I’m keeping on my sunglasses. But I cannot thank you enough. This is a huge honor.”
