Muhammad Ali – The Grammy Nominated Boxing Legend

On Friday June 3 2016 , “The Greatest Boxing Legend” , Muhammad Ali died at a Phoenix hospital Aged 74.

We all Know Ali as a boxer but Did you know he actually released two albums in his lifetime?

In 1963 Cassius Clay (Muhammad Ali) released a primarily spoken word comedy album  titled I Am the Greatest . Ali’s album I Am the Greatest  was nominated for a Grammy award in 1963 .

In 1976, the then-two-time World Heavy Weight Champion teamed with Frank Sinatra, Ossie Davis, Howard Cosell and others to record an album called Ali and His Gang Vs. Mr. Tooth Decay which also received a Grammy nomination for Best Recording for Children in 1977.
