Nigerian music heavywieght P-Square have urged their fans not to watch urban music channel Soundcity TV because the channel has refused to air their music videos. What caused the rift between the two parties remains unknown.
Peter announced he has seen complaints from their fans after they noticed Soundcity won’t play their materials. “Dear fans, we see your complains about the absence of our videos on @SOUNDCITYtv, just to clear the air they refuse to play us,” he said
Speaking on behalf of the music duo, Peter Okoye on Twitter told his fans to tune to other “relible” channels to watch their music videos. “Pls keep watching us on other reliable channel like Mtvbase, HipTv, Tracetv, Afropop and other terrestrial channels. Thanks for the love,” he tweeted on Thursday.
He told a fan not to waste time watching Soundcity… “Don’t waste ur time dear… They will not play them (their music videos)”. Soundcity is yet to react to Peter’s outburst. More tweets below…
