The singer was arrested in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles in the early hours of Friday morning – just as he turned 28. The Birthday Sex hit maker was pulled over by California Highway Patrol around 2:15am and booked for misdemeanor DUI.
According to TMZ, bail was set at $15,000 and the R&B star was eventually released at 11am the same morning. The DUI is follows his arrest in December where the Down On Me singer was caught trying to illegally board a plane. Too late to catch his flight out of Newark Airport in New Jersey, Jeremih’s entourage tried to smuggle him onto the aircraft.
One of his friend’s allegedly opened the closed jet way door to allow the star on board the U.S. Airways flight to Phoenix. Officials said, the Don’t Tell ‘Em singer and his friend, Adam Woods, were charged with disorderly conduct and obstruction of law.
