Beyonce’s sister and the R&B songstress will release her new album to digital retailers worldwide on Friday, Sept. 30 via Saint Records/Columbia.
The 21-track project, which she began writing and producing in 2013, features appearances from Lil Wayne (“Mad”), Sampha (“Don’t Touch My Hair”), The-Dream and BJ the Chicago Kid (“F.U.B.U.”), Q-Tip (“Borderline”), Kelly Rowland (“Interlude: I Got So Much Magic, You Can Have It”), Tweet, and more.
A Seat at the Table, described as “a project on identity, empowerment, independence, grief, and healing,” marks Solange’s first full-length album since 2008’s Sol-Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams. In 2012, she also unleashed her 7-track EP True.
