Wiz Khalifa shows off his spring style in the magazine’s April 2016 issue, which features David Beckham on the cover.
As Kanye might put it, “Wiz wears cool pants” in the fashion spread. In one of the Peggy Sirota images, for example, Khalifa dons a white Tom Ford denim jacket and white jeans while leaning on a beautiful sports car with a Double Gulp from 7-11 at his feet.
Elsewhere in the “Dress Up, Spend Down” spread, Wiz rocks styles straight from the runway, including a Saint Laurent jacket, trucker hat, and skinny jeans combo; a Valentino camo shirt, jeans, and American flag Chuck Taylors; and a Burberry suit ready for a day at the office.
In the article, Khalifa talks about his now infamous (and resolved) Kanye West feud, as well as his alter ego, DJ Daddy Kat. From inside a hotel room, the “See You Again” star also remembers what it was like when he was sober.
Check out highlights from the profile below…
ON HIS FEUD WITH KANYE WEST: “It’s done and over with, so it don’t even matter.”
ON OFF-LIMIT YEEZY QUESTIONS: “I know specifically probably somebody told you not to have this conversation with me, but because you’re in a room with me by myself, you think you can have this conversation with me.”
ON HIS KANYE CONVERSATION: “I keep shit brief. But for him, it’s no animosity, so it ain’t even no thing.”
ON WHETHER HE APOLOGIZED TO KANYE: “I have nothing to apologize for.”
ON SOBRIETY: “I remember what it was like. It sucked.”
ON HIS ALTER EGO DJ DADDY KAT: “It’s like ‘Cat Daddy’ backwards. I listen to a lot of old-school shit. So it’s like ‘Cat Daddy,’ but I put it backwards ‘cos I want bitches to call me ‘Daddy.’”
