After dropping three new songs as a #3PackFromParis last night, Nicki Minaj adds context to her Remy Ma disses with a lengthy Instagram post.
Quoting herself, Nicki begins the post by claiming, once again, that she has before-and-after photos of Remy’s plastic surgery results. “#StopSurgeryShamingB4IPostThem,” she wrote. “Diss records can’t be lies, Great diss records are FACTS. But here @ Young Money, we don’t do diss records, we drop HIT RECORDS & diss u ON them. I got a bunch more on cock. Pauz.”
Then, Nicki taunted those who claimed she had to respond to Remy’s “shETHER” and “Another One” quickly. “The greats took 3 months to respond to diss records,” she explained. “Queens don’t move on peasant time. Queens shut down Paris, then drops hits on #QueenTime.”
Nicki went on to deny ghostwriting claims, and focus on her chart-making success. “Been writing my own raps since I was 11,” she added. “GOD knows. Next week, I’ll beat Aretha for the most Hot 100 hits on billboard by ANY woman in the world EVER in the history of music. Stay in your bum ass place. Jealousy gets u no where.”
This was followed by a proposition for Remy. “I got a countdown of my own for Sheneneh,” she wrote. “U got 72 hours to drop a hit and I’ll give u half a million dollars if u can book ANY show or interview w/o mentioning the Queen name.”
Beyond calling her “Sheneneh,” Nicki also referred to Remy Ma as Reggie Martin. Plus, she shouted out Lady Luck, who famously battled Remy during the “Fight Klub” era. “S/O to Lady Luck for spkn facts. They act like they didn’t see her interview tho,” she wrote. “Lol.”
Nicki’s likely referring to a recent Lady Luck interview with HipHopDX. “She’s wack,” said Luck. “She can’t ride a beat. The insults was dope. I had my jaw like [mouth wide open]…I was like, ‘Meek said what?’ But I listened to it just the same way as if she called me with some tea. But as a rapper, you was off beat. You sound like you weigh 500 pounds. The same problem she always had. It sound like you running up a hill and it sound like you reading it.” During the interview, Luck also accused Remy of having a ghostwriter.
Nicki addressed the track on Twitter too, claiming that “shETHER” was a group effort. “They all banned 2gthr to pull the Queen down,” she wrote. “Ppl I spent yrs helping, lyin on me! But my pastor told me let the LIAR lift me HIGHER.”
